1. Introduction

BR - Sales Orders is a point-of-sale tool that primarily works with data stored on the device itself. Some features depend on third-party services, such as Google advertising, manual sharing, and operating system resources.

2. Locally stored data

Business data entered by the user remains in the device's local storage using SQLite and SharedPreferences. This may include customers, companies, products and product images, orders and items, payments and installments, registered printers, settings, preferences, and the accepted version of this Privacy Policy.

3. No proprietary synchronization

The application does not provide proprietary cloud synchronization or an active backend for sales data. Uninstalling the application, clearing its data, device failure, or loss of the device may cause permanent loss of locally stored information. The user is responsible for maintaining backups whenever a manual backup feature is available.

4. Third-party services

The application may interact with Google Mobile Ads/AdMob, operating system sharing services, the camera, photo gallery, Bluetooth, and printing services. Each provider or operating system may have its own policies, privacy controls, and applicable legal bases.

5. Permissions

The application may request system permissions depending on the feature being used: camera access for scanning and product images, gallery access for importing or saving images, Bluetooth or nearby device access for compatible printers, and local network access for locating and connecting to printers. The user can manage these permissions in the device settings.

6. Advertising

The application uses Google Mobile Ads/AdMob to display advertisements. Google and its partners may process technical data, identifiers, device information, approximate IP address, and advertising interactions according to the user's settings, region, and their own policies. The application does not fully control this processing. Acceptance of this policy does not replace specific consent for personalized advertising or tracking when required.

7. Local network and printing

Wi-Fi or local network access may be used to locate compatible printers, connect to ESC/POS printers, and send commands or documents for printing within the local network. Internet access may also be used to display advertisements.

8. Bluetooth

Bluetooth is used to locate, select, and connect to compatible printers. Depending on the platform and operating system version, the operating system may require Bluetooth, nearby devices, or location permissions.

9. Camera, scanner, and gallery

The camera may be used to scan barcodes or QR codes, capture product images, and operate scanner features. The photo gallery or image library may be used to import, select, or save product-related images. Access occurs according to the user's actions and the permissions granted on the device.

10. Manual sharing

Receipts, tickets, or images are only sent to other applications when the user manually activates the sharing feature. After another application is selected, the processing of the shared content also becomes subject to the policies of the service selected by the user.

11. Security and local storage

Local data is protected by the security mechanisms of the device and operating system. The application does not guarantee proprietary encryption, cloud backup, or remote recovery. Protect the device with a password, biometric authentication, or other available security controls.

12. User rights and controls

The user may view, edit, or remove records through the screens available in the application, revoke permissions in the device settings, manage advertising preferences when this option is provided by the operating system or service provider, and delete all local data by clearing the application's storage or uninstalling it. These actions may cause permanent loss of locally stored information.

13. Data retention

Local data remains on the device while the user keeps the application and its records. Removing records within the application, clearing its storage, or uninstalling it may delete this information. Data processed by AdMob or other services selected by the user follows the policies and retention periods established by those third parties.

14. Children and adolescents

The application is intended for business management and is not directed at children. When local law requires additional safeguards for adolescents or minors, use must occur with appropriate guidance and authorization from a parent or legal guardian.

15. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the application, third-party services, or legal requirements. When the policy version is changed, the application may request renewed acceptance before allowing continued use.
